As hostilities escalate in the Gaza Strip, Israeli security forces have concurrently stepped up their crackdown in the Occupied West Bank. On Tuesday, a significant military operation unfolded in Ramallah, marking the largest such raid in months.

Israeli troops employed live ammunition, tear gas, and rubber-coated bullets during the incursion, resulting in at least 58 Palestinians sustaining injuries.

The operation focused notably on foreign exchange businesses, which the Israeli authorities allege are providing financial support to Palestinian militant factions.

This dual-front approach underscores the widening scope of Israel’s campaign amid heightened tensions, further complicating prospects for stability in the region.
