At least 62 civilians were killed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, on Friday.

On Thursday, Sudan’s army launched its largest offensive in months to retake Khartoum from the rival RSF paramilitary group.

The ongoing conflict in Sudan has triggered widespread ethnic violence, a displacement crisis, and severe famine in many regions.
