Palestinians and supporters around the world are expected to continue commemorating the 77th anniversary of the Nakba—the mass displacement of over 700,000 Palestinians and the destruction of at least 500 towns and villages during the creation of the state of Israel.
Rallies and demonstrations are anticipated across North and South America on Sunday, as part of ongoing global protests calling for recognition and justice for the Palestinian people.
