The Israeli military’s campaign has intensified with a concerted push into Gaza City, systematically razing entire neighbourhoods and confining Palestinian families to ever-shrinking pockets of refuge. The objective: to wrest control of the Strip’s largest urban centre, a move that has escalated both destruction and desperation.

On Tuesday, Israeli drones disseminated leaflets over the Al-Saftawi area and Al-Jalaa Street, ordering forced evacuations southward—a directive that has sown chaos among civilians with nowhere truly safe to flee. Meanwhile, relentless airstrikes claimed the lives of over 60 Palestinians that day alone, including 17 tragically killed while seeking humanitarian aid.

The health crisis compounds the violence. Gaza’s Health Ministry reports that since the conflict’s onset, at least 303 Palestinians—117 of them children—have succumbed to famine and malnutrition. The toll of the Israeli offensive is staggering: 62,819 dead and 158,629 wounded since October 7, 2023, underscoring the dire human cost of the ongoing war.
