Gaza’s Grim Toll Amid Humanitarian Lifelines

This marks day 614 of what many describe as a genocide, with humanitarian aid and civilian lives caught in the crossfire/Al Jazeera.
Israeli military strikes killed at least 78 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, 44 of them at a food distribution site operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF). Since May 27, more than 224 Palestinians have been killed near food distribution centers, and 1,858 injured, underscoring the perilous conditions civilians face while seeking aid.
Despite the dangers, GHF reported distributing around 2.5 million meals on Wednesday across three sites in Gaza: Tal Sultan, the Saudi neighborhood, and Wadi Gaza. These efforts remain a crucial lifeline amid relentless conflict.
On the same day, four Palestinians—including children—were killed in an Israeli strike targeting a tent in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, while two others died in a drone strike north of al-Nuseirat.
