Overnight Israeli strikes killed 10 Palestinians and wounded 40 near Khan Yunis, Gaza. Shortly after a declared “tactical pause” Sunday, an airstrike in Gaza City killed a woman and her four children. Aid trucks began entering Gaza from Egypt during the pause, which allows UN and aid convoys limited safe passage amid a worsening hunger crisis.

The WHO warns that nearly 20% of children under five in Gaza suffer acute malnutrition—a threefold increase since June—with famine-related deaths reaching 135, including 87 children.

Under mounting global pressure, Israeli PM Netanyahu said Israel was “forced” to permit some aid. Meanwhile, U.S. President Trump remarked that Israel faces difficult choices following its withdrawal from ceasefire and hostage negotiations with Hamas.

Sunday’s attacks killed at least 63 Palestinians, half of them while searching for food. Since October 2023, the toll from Israeli operations has reached 59,821 dead and 144,851 injured.

Israel also detained 11 activists aboard the Freedom Flotilla’s Handala ship, seized Saturday while attempting to breach the Gaza blockade.
