The floating pier in Gaza became fully operational on Friday morning receiving its first batch of aid.
The World Food Programme (WFP) confirmed they received the first aid to come into Gaza via the floating pier.
The supplies were taken to a facility in Deir al Balah and will be distributed through the regular mechanisms.
The Biden administration says the pier is not an alternative to opening the land crossings.
UN says 760,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced since 6 May by Israeli Forces’ orders and intensified operations. 600,000 Palestinians from Rafah and 100,000 more from Northern Gaza, including children, older persons, those with disabilities and/or chronic illness.
