Displacement and Demolition

Tensions continued to escalate across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, as Israeli forces raided the Old City of Nablus, injuring at least 40 Palestinians with tear gas and rubber-coated bullets.
In the south Hebron hills, the Israeli military demolished a home in Khalet al-Dabe, claiming it had been constructed within a designated military zone. A similar demolition took place in al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, where authorities said the structure lacked the required building permit.
Meanwhile, the Israeli siege of Jenin and its adjacent refugee camp has entered its 105th day. The operation has been marked by sweeping destruction and the forced displacement of thousands. Local officials estimate that around 22,000 residents have been uprooted, with preliminary assessments placing material damages in excess of $300 million.
