Death toll rises as Israel’s war continues unabated
Despite mounting international pressure for increased humanitarian access, Israeli strikes continue across the Strip/Al Jazeera
Israel’s military campaign in Gaza shows no sign of slowing. Since dawn on Wednesday, 44 people have been killed, including 18 civilians reportedly seeking aid.
Three more died of malnutrition the same day, bringing the total starvation-related deaths to 191 since the war began.
The overall death toll has surpassed 60,000, with more than 1,000 killed while trying to access aid in recent months.
Despite mounting international pressure for increased humanitarian access, Israeli strikes continue across the Strip.
The World Health Organization warns that Israel’s refusal to allow medical workers into Gaza is crippling what little remains of the territory’s healthcare system.
With food, medicine, and safe shelter all in critically short supply, Gaza’s humanitarian collapse deepens by the day.
