Heavy rains and flooding over the last five weeks have destroyed homes and damaged infrastructure across Pakistan.

At least 310 people have died from flash floods and rain-related incidents.

In some areas, Pakistan Army soldiers have been deployed to supply basic food necessities and medical care to the affected population.

Many residential areas remained flooded in low-lying areas of Karachi where at least 11 people were killed on Monday.

More rain is expected.
