Closed door trial of a hundred members of one of the main armed rebel groups in Chad, Front for Change and Concord in Chad (FACT), at a prison in Klesoum, some 20km from the capital N’Djamena.

They are charged with “acts of terrorism”, “mercenary”, “attack on state security” and notably “assassination of the President of the Republic” over the killing of President Idriss Deby in April 2021.
