Incidents have been on the rise over the last couple of months amid growing political tension, some say the acts of anti-government violence are a method to create further instability and chaos ahead of the national election on January 07, 2023.
The leading opposition party says more than 20,000 party people have been arrested across the country since October 28th, when a police official was killed during a large rally.
Bangladesh’s election panel will deploy the army from the end of December in preparation to deter any violence.
