UN report on the torture of Palestinian prisoners
The UN is due to issue a report on the torture of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.
The embargoed report details accounts of torture, sexual violence, humiliations, and killing. It considers that Palestinians taken from Gaza were abducted and that Israel is committing enforced disappearance – a crime against humanity in international law.
The circumstances of those detained from the occupied West Bank or abducted/disappeared from Gaza are only worsening.
