The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has released alarming data revealing that a staggering 10.7 million people have been displaced by the ongoing conflict in Sudan, including 9 million internally displaced persons/Agencies.

More than 45% of Sudan’s population is in dire in need of aid as a result of nine months of conflict.

Five million are facing catastrophic food insecurity according to the UN.

But aid has been hard to deliver in parts of the country, especially the western Darfur region.
