Sudan’s military has been able to reclaim back some ground from the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces around the city of Khartoum.
Fighting between the army and the RSF is in its ninth month and has led to the biggest displacement crisis in the world.
Aaccording to the UN Some 30 million people, almost two thirds of the population, are in need of assistance.
“Families in Sudan’s conflict zones could experience famine-like hunger by next summer, the United Nations has warned, while some in the war-ravaged capital are surviving on a single, meagre daily meal,” said Reuters.
