UNSC currently negotiating behind the scenes on new draft resolution put forward by Malta late last week – with a focus on children.

It does not replace the draft by currently put forward by the elected (non-permanent) members – the so-called e10 group.

It’s a separate effort.

The E10 draft is still there but there are difficulties there hence the new focus on children Malta is pursuing.
