The UNHRC’S Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel will be releasing their annual report.

It will highlight Shireen Abu Akleh’s killing in the context of the use of force and the lack of responsibility.

It will also state that they have identified the unit (which is already known by other sources) and the commander in charge during her killing. These have not been previously concluded by any investigation, but no name will be revealed.

On October 25th the UNHRC’S Independent International Commission will present the report to the General Assembly in New York – with Shireen’s family in attendance.
