Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails go on a mass hunger strike to protest against Israeli policies, including a new proposal Israel’s Security Minister to limit visits to once every two months.
There are 5,100 Palestinians in Israeli prisons – 1,200 of them are detained without charges.
Four prisoners are currently on hunger strike – the longest refusing food are Sultan Khloof, 42, and Kayed AlFasfous, 34, both have on strike for more than a month to protest their detention without charges.
