Another 24-hour nationwide strike has been called in Greece, in protest against the train crash that happened last month, in which 57 people died.
Air traffic controllers and the Seamen’s Federation are participating and as a result, domestic and international flights at Greek airports will be canceled and ferry services will be disrupted.
Teachers, students, taxis, and public transport will also be taking part.
The strike has been called by Greece’s largest civil service umbrella union ADEDY and main private sector union GSEE.
They are calling for better safety on all modes of transportation and are accusing the government of inaction.
