Twenty years after the start of the war in Darfur, and two after the signing of a peace deal, hundreds of thousands of people remain in camps across the region.
But their lives have been getting worse, with many saying they’ve not received aid for months.
“Conditions are difficult in the camps, with malnourishment rampant and international agencies forced to cut down on their aid due to funding constraints,” Aljazeera reported.
