Around 150 refugees from Central African Republic are being repatriated with the help of UNHCR to their homes from
neighbouring Cameroon.
Nearly 30,000 Central African refugees have found refuge in Cameroon’s largest camp in Garoua Boulai, some 30km from the C.A.R. border.
According to Xinhua the voluntary repatriation of the CAR refugees began in 2019 after a tripartite agreement was signed among the Cameroonian government, the CAR, and UNHCR.
