The army in Myanmar  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Myanmar_coup_d%27%C3%A9tathas cut internet access to almost all of Sagaing Region in northwest Myanmar, raising fears the military is planning a major assault there.

Since it was formed in May last year, fighters from the group have been carrying out fierce battles against security forces.

Reuters reported that Myanmar‘s military government complained on Monday of biased coverage by foreign media, which it said was misreporting events in the country.
