Several people were killed and injured by Israeli military strikes early on Wednesday as they waited for humanitarian aid on Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza, according to local reports.
In a separate incident, at least three people were killed when Israeli shelling hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The previous day, at least 93 Palestinians were reported killed across Gaza. Of these, 70 were killed and around 200 wounded by Israeli forces at a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) aid distribution point in Khan Yunis, the Gaza health ministry said.
Since the conflict escalated, at least 397 people have been killed and more than 3,031 injured in areas designated for aid distribution, according to the same source.
Only a limited amount of humanitarian assistance is being allowed into the territory, further compounding what aid agencies have called a catastrophic humanitarian situation. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has been accused of using aid access as a tool of coercion against Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the Government Media Office in Gaza stated that Israeli forces have cut off communications and internet access in the strip for the tenth time since the conflict began.
