18 months of fighting in Sudan has disrupted education for many school-aged children.
UNICEF says that at least 13 million children in Sudan are out of school due to the violence and displacement, and nearly half of them are
now missing school for more than three years.
In areas of conflict, schools have been bombarded or turned into a military base for the warring parties.
Ongoing fighting means that, for the third year now, children can’t go to school in many parts of the country.
Some have resorted to street jobs to help their families earn income.
