The Sumud Flotilla, an international coalition aiming to break the siege of the Gaza Strip, departed Tunisian ports over the weekend and has now entered international waters.
The fleet has grown to over 40 vessels, currently navigating Italian international waters between Sicily and Pantelleria. Additional ships are expected to join from Italian ports, with the flotilla set to sail simultaneously toward Gaza.
The journey is projected to take around ten days to reach Palestinian territorial waters. More than 400 activists from approximately 50 countries are participating in the mission.
