The civil war in Sudan between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces has displaced more than 8M people from their homes. Hundreds of thousands of them come from South Sudan and have been forced to go back.

At Renk’s transit center in South Sudan, many displaced people are finding ways to make ends meet, resorting to selling what little belongings they have left to survive.
