U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken delivered remarks on the 2021 Report on International Religious Freedom, at the Department of State.

The annual report describes the status of religious freedom in all foreign nations, government policies violating religious beliefs and practices of groups, religious denominations, and individuals, and U.S. policies to promote religious freedom around the world.

According to Reuters “Some officials in India are ignoring or even supporting rising attacks on people and places of worship in the country, a U.S. official said late on Thursday, drawing an angry reaction from New Delhi which called the comments “ill-informed”.
