Monsoon-triggered floods, worsened by India’s dam releases, have killed at least 910 people in Pakistan and displaced more than 2 million, with rivers overflowing into towns and villages in eastern Pakistan’s Punjab.
Authorities have deployed boats, rescuers, and volunteers, evacuating over 25,000 people this week, though many remain stranded on rooftops.
International aid has begun arriving, with Saudi Arabia and the U.S. sending food, shelter, and supplies to Pakistan.
