Nigerian separatist leader Nnamdi Kanu is due back in court on charges of treason.
Kanu leads the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) which calls for the secession of Nigeria’s far south-eastern region.
The last court session on November 10 was adjourned after some of his lawyers staged a walk-out.
On October 21, he pleaded not guilty to 7 charges.
Some political and traditional rulers from the southeast have been appealing for his release to quell unrest in the region.
Kanu was detained on June 27 last year in Kenya and brought back to Abuja, where he is currently being held.
