Israeli strikes on Gaza City intensified overnight, hitting the al Sabra, al Shawa, and al Daraj areas, as well as the Al Shati refugee camp.

Axios reported late Monday that the Israeli military had launched its ground offensive to occupy Gaza City.

At least 51 Palestinians were killed in strikes across Gaza on Monday, including 36 in Gaza City.

Six-year-old twins were among the dead.

Four unborn babies and three premature newborns died at Nasser Medical Complex on Monday from malnutrition, “the siege and a lack of a suitable environment”.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 422 people – including 145 children – have died due to the ongoing hunger crisis in the strip.

People in Gaza City are watching buildings be bombed all around them daily but are unable to afford or access transport to the south.

Many are dismantling their tents, intending to flee.

In Mawasi, they face disease, privation, and exposure to airstrikes.
