More Deaths Were Recorded in Gaza

Israel’s offensive on Gaza continues, as its military pushes into Gaza City, levels buildings, and hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are fleeing to the central areas.
Israeli forces have launched a new wave of attacks targeting Palestinians near two hospitals in Gaza City.
On Wednesday, at least 13 people were killed in an attack outside of Al Shifa Hospital, one of the few medical facilities still partially functioning in the north of the Strip.
There were also attacks on Al Ahli Baptist Hospital.
Many Palestinians in Gaza City are packing up their makeshift tents and belongings but say they have nowhere to go and cannot afford to move south.
On Wednesday, at least 83 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza, including 61 people who were killed in Gaza City.
A senior Hamas official has spoken publicly for the first time since Israel attacked the group’s leadership in Doha. In an interview with Al Jazeera Arabic, Hamas Political Bureau Member Ghazi Hamad described the moment of the attack and how they managed to escape.
United States Senator Bernie Sanders described Israel’s assault on Gaza as a genocide, becoming the first US senator to do so.
Four more deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of people to have died from famine and malnutrition over the Israeli-induced hunger crisis to 432, including 146 children.
On Wednesday, a COGAT statement said 550 residents left the Gaza Strip for various countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Romania, and other EU member states.
So far, more than 5,000 residents have left the Gaza Strip through the Karem Abu Salem crossing to the Allenby Crossing or Ramon Airport.
Since Israel’s war began in October 2023, at least 65,062 people have been killed and 165,697 wounded.
