Israa Abu Mustafa, a Palestinian teacher, has created a classroom amid the ruins of her destroyed home in Khan Younis.
Driven by a desire to support displaced children, she aims to provide education despite the devastation of their schools.

The Palestinian Ministry of Education reports that over 650,000 Palestinian students will miss out on education for the second consecutive year.

For 19-year-old Ahmed, a dream of studying mechanical engineering in Algeria has been shattered by the conflict in Gaza.

Now, he spends his days in a tent, searching for food and collecting water instead.
