Senate Homeland Security Committee Chair Rand Paul is set to lead an important oversight hearing that will examine federal immigration enforcement, particularly in light of the controversial operations conducted in Minnesota.
This hearing will be organized into two distinct sessions. The first panel will bring together prominent elected and executive officials from Minnesota to discuss the local implications and responses to these operations. Following that, a second panel will feature key federal witnesses, including the leaders of USCIS, ICE, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, who will address the operations from the federal perspective.
This hearing promises to be a critical forum for assessing current immigration policies and practices.
