A new storm is expected to once again batter makeshift tents, leaving thousands without protection. At least 50 buildings have collapsed since the start of the winter season, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of citizens who they had taken shelter amid the absence of any safe alternatives.

More than 127,000 tents were rendered unusable and no longer capable of providing minimal protection to over 1.5 million displaced people, according to the Gaza media office.
