Today, France hosts an international humanitarian conference for the civilian population in Gaza.

It will cover issues from mobilizing funds, providing emergency assistance, re-establishing supply of water, fuel and electricity as well as assisting people wounded in Gaza through the possible use of maritime corridors.

Participants include UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths, and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh.
