Israeli forces have persisted in their airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Friday, launching a wave of attacks that targeted a school and buildings sheltering displaced Palestinians. Israel issued a new evacuation order for those southeast of Jabalia, compounding the forced displacement crisis.

On Saturday, the Director of Field Hospitals at Gaza’s Ministry of Health described the situation as catastrophic, with hospitals overwhelmed by the wounded. The lack of specialized doctors, medical supplies, and essential services has left healthcare providers struggling to cope.

A Thursday/Friday airstrike in central Gaza killed at least 33 Palestinians, including several children, and injured at least 84 others in Nuseirat refugee camp. Residential buildings were destroyed in the attack, deepening the humanitarian catastrophe.
