The Israeli army carried out numerous air strikes across Gaza on Sunday, threatening the ceasefire.
At least 42 Palestinians were killed in the strikes on Sunday.
There were at least 20 Israeli air strikes, and picture showed the plumes of smoke in skyline and victims being taken to hospital.
Israel says it follows the killing of two of its soldiers in Rafah, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordering the operation.
Israel says Hamas fighters opened fire at soldiers stationed in the south, which the group denies.
Hamas says it’s unaware of any incidents as it hasn’t been in control of the south of the strip since March.
Israel’s far-right ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich have been pressuring Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to restart the war.
Hamas and Israel have exchanged more bodies, as part of the ceasefire deal.
Israeli authorities have returned the remains of another 15 Palestinians to the Gaza Strip.
And Hamas has handed over the remains of another two Israeli captives from Gaza.
It’s transferred 12 of the 28 bodies it agreed to return under the terms of the ceasefire.
