Expanding the War!

Israeli ministers have reportedly approved plans to extend the military occupation of the Gaza Strip indefinitely. The country’s security cabinet has backed a proposal to escalate the ground campaign, with operations expected to intensify following a forthcoming visit by former US President Donald Trump to the region.
In preparation, the Israeli Defence Forces are calling up some 60,000 reservists. The army’s chief of staff has confirmed the mobilisation, stating that the expansion of military operations will continue until Israel meets its strategic objectives in Gaza.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, a missile fired from Yemen struck near Ben Gurion Airport, according to Israeli media. The projectile, said to carry a large warhead, reportedly evaded multiple layers of Israel’s air defence systems.
The attack prompted the temporary suspension of all flights to and from the airport. Access roads were sealed, and train services to the facility were briefly halted as a precaution.
