32 people arrived in the capital on a Brazilian Air Force plane after managing to escape Gaza via the Rafah Crossing a couple of days ago – 17 children, 9 women and 6 men.
President Lula welcomed them when they landed at the airport.
They will spend two nights in the capital…receiving healthcare, psychological aid and getting their documents sorted out. 22 of them are Brazilian citizens, seven have residency in Brazil and 3 are close relatives.
