Violence in Gaza has surged, with hospital sources reporting 91 fatalities from Israeli army fire since dawn on Saturday, including 48 in Gaza City. Meanwhile, over 40,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced in the occupied West Bank, according to UNRWA, as raids, arrests, demolitions, and other military operations continue.
Regarding Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains in the United States, even as families of hostages stage ongoing protests against his government’s policies. International attention is also focused on the Global Sumud Flotilla, which departed Crete on Saturday and is expected to reach Gaza within four to five days. Public concern over the humanitarian crisis is rising: in Germany, tens of thousands attended a rally under the banner “All Eyes on Gaza. Stop the Genocide.”
