Israel’s Security Cabinet approved significant legal measures spearheaded by Bezalel Smotrich and Israel Katz, aimed at restructuring land ownership and civil regulations in Judea and Samaria.

Key changes involve repealing Jordanian laws restricting land sales to Jews, enabling purchases under terms resembling those in cities like Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Finance Minister Smotrich emphasized these actions as a commitment to deepening Jewish territorial presence while dismissing the concept of a Palestinian state.

Defense Minister Katz reinforced this sentiment by stating that settlement expansion is now a fundamental component of Israeli policy in these regions.
