Cape Town Protest Highlights Press Freedom Amid Gaza Conflict

housands of demonstrators marched through Sea Point in a show of solidarity with journalists in Gaza, many of whom have been targeted by Israeli military operations.

The protest was organised by the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign as part of its wider campaign against what it terms genocide in the region.

Distinctively, this rally was spearheaded by media professionals and their families, highlighting growing international concern over the erosion of press freedom and the dangers faced by journalists reporting from conflict zones.
