On Thursday, May 09th A court hearing, takes place, for Payton Gendron, charged with murder for allegedly killing 10 people and wounding three others after opening fire at a Buffalo, NY, supermarket.

Authorities called the attack ‘a straight up racially motivated hate crime’, as Gendron appeared to deliberately target a  historically Black area of the city, and, in an online manifesto obtained by news organizations, described himself as ‘a fascist, a white supremacist and an antisemite’.

He pled not guilty.
