At least ten Palestinians were killed in Jenin, and one Palestinian in Ramallah, as airstrikes hit the Jenin refugee camp area late early Monday.

A convoy of Israeli armoured vehicles was filmed going on the outskirts of the camp.

Dozens were wounded during the operation.

Israeli media reported that more than one thousand Israeli soldiers participated in the raid on Jenin.

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen on Monday signaled Israel was not intending to expand an operation in the Palestinian city of Jenin to the entire occupied West Bank.

Palestinian presidency said in a statement that what the Israeli occupation government is doing in the city of Jenin and its camp is a new war crime against the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates calls for urgent international and American intervention to stop the occupation’s aggression against Jenin and its camp.

Israeli Army Chief Spokesperson Daniel Hagari said: “We are carrying out a series of operational activities inside the city of Jenin and in the Jenin camp to thwart terrorist activities by targeting terrorist infrastructure, carrying out arrest operations, targeting headquarters and operations rooms, and confiscating weapons and explosive devices.”

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority said that Israeli security services are preparing for the possibility of firing rockets from the Gaza Strip & Lebanon towards Israel.
