In New York, several key events are taking place.
The UN Security Council will hold briefings on ISIL and related individuals, groups, undertakings, and entities, addressing issues under resolutions 1373 (counterterrorism) and 1540 (disarmament of non-state actors).
On the 15th, the UN Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA) will launch the 2024 edition of its flagship report, titled “Unpacking the Debt of Africa: Towards a Lasting and Durable Solution.”
On the 17th, there will be the UN Daily Briefing with the UN Secretary-General’s Spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric. Additionally, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is expected to release its Food Outlook Report.
