47 people missing presumed dead following a mudslide at a copper mine in northern Zambia.
Rescuers have been unable to locate the miners believed trapped for more than two days in Zambia’s main copper belt region, some 400 KM north of the capital Lusaka.
The trapped men were mining illegally, selling copper to Chinese buyers. Zambia among the 10 biggest copper producers in the world.
